Loving it so far, thanks Neil!!!!
I just installed the Windows agent and it seems to work incredibly well. This is a great value compared to the other alternatives that are out there.
Hi, I've just subscribed to the windows (Beta) version, following receipt of th ee-mail yesterday. Am I missing something very basic in my setup? Superwhisper transcribes my voice into text fine (it appears in the mini window) but it doesn't paste into the application that I'm in. I've tried word, slack and notepad... but nothing appears. Any help gratefully received. Mick.
I am currently using Superwhisper on Windows 11 and I couldn't be happier. I don't know what will it be without the Pro version, which is free for 15 minutes. But it is all amazing so far, and you can use your own native language. I speak Brazilian Portuguese, and Superwhisper understands with +97% accuracy. Congratulations and thank you, really!
Pompt capability is missing on the windows version and it makes a huge difference to me compared to Mac Os, for the same price.
Defeinitely need a Windows option to complete my workflows!
Even if it only supported cloud models, this windows (and linux) support would be fantastic! I'm a developer that uses this tool with Claude Code and other genAi tools and it is a gamechanger
We actually would prefer a Linux over a Windows version or at least an implementation that would run under Wine w/o problems. And: Android support is much needed. Guys - there are 10ks if not 100ks of developers and data scientists out there that would use your product...
Hi Neil, I trust you're well? I have tried almost every app out there and they've failed me to some degree. When will yours roll out for Android and/or Windows? I need to use it for transcribing conversations in noisy environments.
A Windows version would get me to convert to Pro. I daily use Mac and PC and need a tool compatible with both.
There’s been a lot of discussion about the Windows version. I see that the beta sign-up has been open for the past six months, but there’s still no news...
A Windows version would be very welcome, while I have mac and iPhone, I spend a great deal of time developing on a Windows PC. Meanwhile, what I have found to work fairly well is creating a shortcut and setting up Pushcut with a hotkey on a Stream Deck (or macro key) to send a webhook to the Pushcut server to start recording on my iPhone, which I keep on my desk. It picks up the recording fine. The shortcut then sends the recording back to Windows via a lightweight server I have running in the background. An AutoHotkey automation delivers it as a notification and automagically loads the output to my clipboard.
Any news about Windows Version? Would love to pay also double, to use it on Windows
any eta on a windows version?
Please man i cant go to build in mac verson i will pay double for it.
If you guys need any help with the development of the Windows version, please let me know. I'd love to help out in my spare time if you need it. I work on Mac OS as well as Windows, so I definitely need something cross-platform. I really, really like Super Whisper the most out of all of them (WhisperTyping, Wspr Flow etc)
WhisperTyping is pretty great, not as feature-rich as SuperWhisper, but it works pretty well.
Yes please! This would be fantastic, and love to see that it's In Progress. Just upgraded my Superwhisper account too.
I'm actively looking for similar tool for windows and I'm considering using other mentioned options, but would prefer to use SuperWhisper if possible. I see it has status "In progress" but since I don't know how big development is required under the hood I'm wondering if doing is a matter of weeks, months, other?
Please Windows Version !! Thanks
Wispr Flow just launched on Windows and I'm loving it
Can't for for the Windows Version release!
windows please!!!
Currently, you can use Whisper Typing, which seems to be the best one utilizing the Whisper model. It auto-punctuates and is free at the moment. Other alternatives that are more similar to Dragon include Talon Voice and Utterly Voice. While Lily Speech is an option, I'm not a big fan. If you're willing to pay, I would recommend Wispr Flow. However, Whisper Typing provides a similar experience without the fancy interface. Talon Voice is the best for customization. Please don't purchase Dragon; it's overpriced, overhyped, and outdated.
Oh yes i'm waiting for that !!
Signed up for the beta!
I thought access was rolling out over last 2 few weeks? I've signed up for beta, but no email yet.
🌟 I’m really looking forward to trying that out on Windows!
I'd really appreciate this. At work I use windows so this would come in super handy!
Windows version please!!
Windows version please!
Sending force to windows developer ! We want to try on windows
would make my year!
Please launch for windows
windows version please
I'll buy the windows version as soon as you have it. Any news on when it might be arriving?!
Ed Bradburn Forgot to ask, which expensive buggy option is that?
Neil Chudleigh: Dragon Dictate from Nuance (recently acquired by Microsoft I think) The pro version now costs, I kid you not, 1,000 €. I used it for years but finally got tired of the pricing policy and the crashes, etc. that have plagued all versions of the software. Currently using a Google-based service called LilySpeech which is OK but they appear to have zero interest in marketing it as a product. Which is why I am super-interested in superwhisper!
Ed Bradburn Yes Ed, a Windows version would be excellent. When you mentioned a buggy option, I was expecting you to mention SpeechPulse. It is early in development, but low cost, and cross platform (Windows and Mac). Frequently updated. They are the only project I know of that is trying to replicate dictation (manual punctuation, formatting commands) "Dragon style" and merge this with AI. It's impressive what they have accomplished so far. With SuperWhisper, I'm still working on a prompt that will process my puntuation and formatting commands correctly post-recognition. Tricky because the models are not consistent. Sometimes they behave as expected, and sometimes they don't. Dragon still wins there. I'm surprised Nuance has not already upgraded Dragon to incorporate AI to improve recognition accuracy. It could become stellar -- but still $$$$.
Ed BradburnThanks for the heads up on LilySpeech. Trying it out now. Interesting option. Never heard of it :-)
Darryl That's also an interesting option - the more the merrier and thanks for mentioning it!

Today we are excited to announce, our most requested "feature" of all time. Superwhisper is now available for Windows! Head over to http://superwhisper.com to download!
