Set default model after switch to another model

Is it possible to set a default model so that, if it kicks you out into another model (for example, if I’m doing an email), it would switch to email mode, but when I’m not doing email it would switch back to the default model? Can it do that? Right now it only changes to a default like email mode and it stays in email mode until I switch it back.

Or you can have different hotkeys for different modes (push-to-talk hotkeys). Then you don't need to switch back so on. Just press the hotkey and you're immediately working in the mode you need. Press another hotkey and you're working in another mode you need. It seems that such a feature would be extremely useful.

I came here today just to suggest this, and I’m glad to see someone else has beaten me to it. I use a number of different modes, some for school, some for coding, and one that I created that I call Universal Mode for everything else. Switching to my school mode or my coding mode works great, but nothing switches back automatically. I know there are ways to get it to switch back with app triggers, but sometimes that’s problematic. I would really like it to switch back automatically to my Universal Mode.
