moving from windows to linux and having a lifetime subscription i feel the pain of not having superwhisper on linux...
Yes please, we need this 🙏
Some existing linux alternatives while we wait for this: https://www.blabby.ai/linux-speech-to-text https://handy.computer/ idk any more
I signed up just so that I can vote for this. I am working on transitioning from Windows 11 to Linux Mint and superwhisper has become a major part of my workflow. Especially since you are gearing it towards devs and coders.
Please make an ubuntu port! I would absolutely love this app, and currently pay for it. However, I don't know how much longer I can wait for the linux port until I cancel.
Please make a Linux version. I will buy two lifetime licenses immediately. :D Currently there are some very basic attempts like Handy or soupawhisper, but nothing as advanced and polished as SuperWhisper.
If/when you do this pls also make sure it works on Linux distros that use the new modern Wayland - for an example check VybeTyper or VOXD
Same here, I use linux at work and there is nothing comparable at this time but it will come. Don't make me switch please
I work on a Windows system at work and I use Superwhisper almost constantly there. Privately, I use Ubuntu and I feel like I have no hands without Superwhisper. Please make a version for Ubuntu as well.
Please make a Linux version too. It would be so great <3
We're going to completely switch away from macOS and iOS to Linux and Android due to (legal) privacy and freedom-of-speech concerns and would love to see Superwhisper being supported on Linux and Android.
I agree. For me personally, Linux & Android support top the list.
Me too. They're are "options" but no one has gotten this right, yet. Everything I've tried is awkward and clunky or simply doesn't work. A fluid user experience, support for programming and running on everything would be ideal.
This would be my personal number one feature request. I don't think there is anything comparable to this, currently available on Linux and that is my platform of choice.
https://github.com/csmashe/typewhisper-linux give this a try. Its a work in process linux port of typewhisper.

Use Linux and Windows daily. would love to be able to use Superwhisper on my Linux laptop as well.
