Keyboard shortcut "Push to talk" seems to lose workflow

The PTT feature works fine (on a macbook) but after a few hours I find that it does not activate on the "push" it only activates once the button is released. This  is strange as when I then shut down superwhisper app and restart, it works as required i.e. getting activated on the push and then stopping recording on the release. Not sure why it is but its pretty annoying to have to restart the app every few hours to fix this.
