Dragon command mode
I've recently moved to Mac after using Windows for years, partly for better dictation. My use case: I'm a doctor and academic. I need two things from dictation. First, an AI-assisted mode for informal notes, which Superwhisper does beautifully. Second, a verbatim command mode for clinical notes and academic documents where I need my exact words without any AI tidying. For clinical and medicolegal work, I can't have AI changing my language. The precise wording matters. I also have my own preferences about punctuation and formatting. What I'm looking for (what Dragon used to call "Command Mode"):- Exact verbatim transcription, no grammar correction, no restructuring- Reliable recognition of spoken commands: "period," "comma," "new line," "new paragraph," "open quotes," "close quotes"- Commands that never get typed as textI've spent many hours trying to set this up in Superwhisper. I can get close, but not reliably. Commands sometimes appear as text, or the AI reformats things despite my prompts. The business case (from my angle at least!): I honestly think there will be a lot of people like me. Dragon users who've moved to Mac and are looking for a home. If Superwhisper had a mode that did this reliably, maybe literally called "Dragon Mode," I think word would spread fast. We know what we want and we talk to each other. My ask:If this is already possible with the right settings, could you point me to how?If not, would you consider building it? I'm happy to test and give detailed feedback. If it's not happening, just tell me and I'll look elsewhere.
