Application Modes

Predicting the outcomes when using application modes is extremely challenging for me, as it often requires several keystrokes to unexpectedly switch modes. For instance, when I utilize Outlook for email, I’ve configured a slightly different model and output formats accordingly. However, when I return to Claude, it fails to reset to the original profile. I cannot anticipate which mode or profile will be active at any moment. This feature seems somewhat unfinished, although it offers a strong basis for developing a unified voice strategy across different applications. I hope this feature can be enhanced to become more reliable, predictable, and incorporate an understandable rules engine that clarifies its operation and expected results. As I’ve noted, the components are in place, yet they are not cohesively organized to generate clear outcomes during my consistent use of the application.
